Alfreda Mastman peacefully passed away on January 13, 2024, in Saratoga, CA. Born in Buffalo, NY to Jack and Rena Moss in 1930. Alfreda's journey was one marked by compassion, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact on those around her.
Alfreda's educational journey led her to the University at Buffalo, where she earned a degree in Education. Early in her career, she imparted knowledge and wisdom as a devoted third-grade teacher, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of her students. Later, she embraced diverse fields, operating a mail-order business, managing real estate, and contributing her expertise as a travel agent.
In addition to her professional achievements, Alfreda was a loving and devoted mother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Gary Mastman, and is survived by her children, Philip Mastman, Mark Mastman, and Barbara Mastman. Alfreda's love extended to her grandchildren, Kevin Mastman, Ryan Herrera, and Emily Mastman, whom she adored.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hadassah, a cause that held special significance to Alfreda. May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to bring solace and inspiration to all those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
