Philanthropy

Sinai is the only nonprofit Jewish funeral home in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since our founding nearly 100 years ago, we have assisted needy Jewish families in receiving traditional funeral services and burials. The generous tradition of Tzedakah is also manifested in Sinai's contributions to various congregations and organizations.

Over the years we have broadened the scope and widened the range of institutions we help support from Mendocino County to Santa Cruz. Maintaining our commitment to Jewish education, we have helped support Jewish day schools, Jewish camps, Hillels, and other organizations devoted to Jewish youth.

In keeping with our historic mission of maintaining a thriving Bay Area Jewish community, we will continue to contribute available resources to congregations and organizations that enhance Jewish education and contribute to the quality of Jewish life in the community.
