Ethel Lee Wolff
Native San Franciscan, Ethel Lee Wolff, passed away peacefully June 21, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona.
Ethel was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Lenore Koret and by her dear sister, Claire. Ethel's childhood was spent both in San Francisco and on the peninsula where she developed a love for animals, especially dogs and horses.
She was married to Leslie Cohn from 1952 until his death in 1977 and together they had and raised three children, Steven Cohn (Tara), Mark Cohn (Szusa) and Alexis Lewin (Roger). Ethel married Kurt Wolff in 1992 and they spent 23 wonderful years together traveling the world and making their home finally in Lincoln, CA.
Ethel lived life fully. She was a glamorous, elegant lady who was so good at playing Hearts she would often "shoot the moon" twice in one game. She spent many years breeding and raising German Shepard dogs and owned several National Champions.
Ethel's memory will be forever cherished by Kurt, Steven, Mark, Alexis, her 8 grandchildren and many close friends.
Funeral services will be held at Sinai Memorial Chapel, 1501 Divisadero St., San Francisco, CA on Sunday, June 28th at 1:00 pm with internment to follow at Salem Cemetery in Colma. Reception immediately following.
