We are very saddened to announce that Alexander Ophir, 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home on Saturday, October 3, 2015, in San Francisco, CA. He was born on March 4, 1930 in Siberia. In 1960, he married the love of his life, Judy Ophir, and together they raised their sons, Ron and Gil. Alex ran his own business until his Retirement. He loved his Family greatly and enjoyed traveling. Alex is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy, his sons, Ron and Gil, his daughters-in-law, Heather and Beth, his 4 grandchildren, his 2 great granddaughters, and extended Family both here and abroad. Funeral services will be held privately.
