Irma "Lou" Roth lived an amazing 103 years and passed away peacefully at the Sequoias Senior Housing on January 29th. An indomitable spirit who survived the holocaust and built a successful business in the Haight is survived by her son, Tom Roth and his wife, Peg, her grandchildren Susan Main, Joe Roth, David Danzig and Josh Danzig as well as 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Milan Roth, her daughter Margaret Danzig and granddaughter Lisa Roth. Her spirit and integrity touched everyone who knew her and all of her descendants owe her an incalculable debt for the courage and fortitude she showed by bringing her family under the most difficult of circumstances to the United States from WWII Europe (search "Irma Roth Story" on youtube). She will be beloved and remembered for generations.
