NextSteps:
Sinai's Outreach Program for Mourners

Sinai's professionals have always provided immediate practical and supportive services to the bereaved, and well understands the trauma that the death of a loved one can incur. They know that grief is a naturally painful, depressing and isolating state that affects every aspect of a mourner's physical, emotional and cognitive life. NextSteps provides highly individualized care utilizing Jewish tradition and accredited clinical practice to successfully help mourners move through their grief, integrate their losses, and reinvest in life.

The NextSteps program is offered at no cost to all Sinai Mourners .

This service is provided by experienced griefcare specialists through telephone consultation, and/or in-person visits with mourning families or individuals who choose to participate. Its goal is to provide assessment, support, basic grief aftercare, and linkage to appropriate healing opportunities.
