Sinai Memorial Chapel has its home office and facilities on Divisidero
and Geary in San Francisco. After a century of serving the Jewish community
at this location, twelve years ago Sinai Memorial Chapel opened a satellite
facility in Lafayette, and on January 11, 2005, a satellite
office in Redwood City.
Sinai Memorial Chapel was established in the late 1800's and has continued as a Holy Burial Society-Chevra Kadisha- all these years. This one building houses many of the funeral needs: several beautiful Chapel rooms, a preparation room, the Menorah Room where it is used for two purposes: pre-need arrangements and grief counseling. This facility remains the heart of Sinai's operations and is in constant contact with the Lafayette and Peninsula-South Bay facilities.
